Graduates should plan to arrive at 8 a.m. to check in, get lined up and receive final instructions before the ceremony begins.

Before taking your seat, you’ll have the opportunity to have a free professional headshot taken by the WVU Parkersburg Marketing and Communications team. During the ceremony, graduates will process in together, be recognized as they cross the stage and have another professional photo taken during their big moment.

Graduates will remain with their class throughout the ceremony. Once degrees are conferred, you’ll participate in the traditional turning of the tassel before recessing with your fellow graduates.

Students should watch their WVU Parkersburg email for additional details.
